The Primer arrowrest will be able to withstand the harshest of hunting conditions while maintaining pinpoint accuracy thanks to time tested features such as sealed stainless-steel ball bearings, zero tolerance technology, lightweight aluminum design, quality CNC machined components and Hamskea's cord clamp. Coming as a standard feature on the Primer, Hamskea is proud to introduce the latest evolution of its activation cord dampening technology with the release of the patent pending Rebound Dampener. The Rebound Dampener helps to mitigate the shock that is transferred from the limb to the rest during the shot and prevents the wear that could eventually lead to failure. Made of a durable dampening material, the Rebound Dampener acts as a shock absorber to eliminate launcher flutter, prevent cord stretch, and dampen the limb shock extending the life of the rest. With an inline design, the Rebound Dampener allows the cord to attach directly to the rest and limb eliminating any chance for failure in the field. With its new slimmed down design, the Primer Arrow Rest is Hamskea's lightest model to date with a total weight of only 3.6 ounces.

Comme pour le modèle EDGE le BLADE a une poignée qui est bien adaptée à une main de taille moyenne, ce qui conduit à un appui bas. La fenêtre a une profondeur modérée, qui ne parvient pas au centre et une hauteur réduite qui est bien adapté au tir instinctif.
Les branches du BLADE sont en frêne et fibre de verre clair sur les deux faces. Entre les deux couches de frênes il y a une lamination d'érable avec une autre lame de fibre de verre. Cela fait que l'arc aussi s'ouvre avec fluidité, même aux allonges de 28" et plus.
L'arc viens avec une corde en dacron. Cependant, la corde peut être remplacé par une corde fast flight (optionnel) pour obtenir une vitesse plus élevée de sortie de la flèche.
Le Meteor Old Tradition est désormais disponible en version démontable.
Grâce à des branches de 62", le confort et le rendement de cet arc sont tout simplement exceptionnels sur des plages d'allonge allant de 27 à 31".
